This is a panoramic view from the pool at my parents' home in Fredericksburg, TX. You can click on it for the full size. Here I have been resting and preparing for the drive to west Texas tomorrow morning. On Sunday night, we awoke to the yelping and wailing of a pack of coyotes that had snagged a calf or fawn in the field you can see at the far right. You can also see Enchanted Rock at dead center.
So, tomorrow I hit the road for Big Bend National Park, Big Bend Ranch State Park, the Gila Wilderness in New Mexico, the Pecos Wilderness, also in NM, and finally, onwards to Pike National Forest, (Pike's Peak), and Graf's camp outside Florrisant, CO. It's unlikely that I'll be able to post until I reach Colorado, sometime around June 11th. With all I have planned between now and then, there should be plenty to share at that time. Wish me luck...
